Please read these terms and conditions before joining the contest:
This MALAYSIAKU CONTEST (“Contest”) is organized by Honda Tiong Nam Motor SDN. BHD. in conjunction with Malaysia Day celebration.
1. ELIGIBILITY
1.1 This Contest is open to all Malaysian residents, age 18 and above with a valid MyKad and address in Malaysia subject to the Terms & Conditions herein.
1.2 The following group of persons shall NOT be eligible to participate in the Contest:
a) Employees of the Organizer including its affiliated and related companies and their immediate family members (children, parents, brothers and sisters, including spouses);
b) Employees of the participating Honda’s Authorized Dealers including its affiliated and related companies and their immediate family members (children, parents, brothers and sisters, including spouses); and,
c) Representatives, employees, servants and/or agents of advertising and/or promotion service providers of Organizer including its affiliated and related companies, and their immediate family members (children, parents, brothers and sisters including spouses).
d) Any corporate entities or organization.
2. DURATION
2.1 The Contest will run on 14th September 2021 to 17th September 2021 (“Contest Period”).
2.2 The Organiser reserves the right to amend the Contest Period at any time. All entries received outside the Contest Period will be disqualified.
3. SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES AND QUALIFYING CRITERIA
3.1 The Participants shall “like” Honda Tiong Nam Motor SDN. BHD. Official Facebook page and share the Merdeka Online Contest.
3.2 Participant must answer via Google Forms with personal info as required.
3.3 Contest participant must answer all questions correctly and fill in correct personal details.
3.4 Winners will be selected by Honda Tiong Nam Motor SDN. BHD using lucky draw mechanism.
3.5 Winner announcement will be posted on Honda Tiong Nam Motor SDN. BHD official Facebook Page or during the Honda Tiong Nam Motor SDN. BHD Virtual Malaysiaku Family Day.
3.6 Honda Tiong Nam Motor SDN. BHD will contact and send gift to winners.
4. WINNER’S SELECTION
4.1 Contest winner will be selected via Lucky Draw and will be announced on 18th September 2021 on Honda Tiong Nam Motor SDN. BHD. Facebook page.
5. PRIZES & REDEMPTION
5.1 Contest winners will receive a KFC Voucher (the Prize) as below:
a) 1st place – RM 50 KFC Voucher
b) 2nd Place – RM 40 KFC Voucher
c) 3rd Place – RM 30 KFC Voucher
d) Consolation 1 – RM 20 KFC Voucher
e) Consolation 2 – RM 10 KFC Voucher
5.2 The Prize shall not be exchangeable to cash from the validity date.
5.3 The Organiser reserves the right at its absolute discretion to substitute any of the prizes with alternative prizes of similar value, at any time without prior notice. All prizes are given on an “As is” basis and are not exchangeable or sold for cash, credit, other items or voucher in part or in full and are non-transferable to any other person.
5.4 Honda Tiong Nam Motor SDN. BHD. will contact winners within 3 working days and arrange prize delivery to winners.
5.5 If not contacted by Honda Tiong Nam Motor SDN. BHD., winners can contact us directly. Contact information available on https://honda-tiongnam.com/contact.
5.6 The KFC Cash Voucher can be redeemed at all KFC Restaurants in Malaysia except Genting Highlands, Medini Mall JB and all KFC restaurants in Airports.
5.7 The KFC Cash Voucher is not valid for Online Ordering and Delivery.
6. MORAL RIGHTS
6.1 The Organiser shall disqualify any entry application/participation, whereby in its opinion and discretion, a participant has deliberately or negligently submitted a media content deemed obscene, defamatory, indecent, politically provocative, or generally offensive in nature. Any entry application/participation submitted containing fraudulent information using a false identity or other particulars with the intention to deceive or misrepresent The Organiser shall be disqualified accordingly.
7. LIABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY
7.1 To the extent permitted by law, Participant and Winner shall assume full liability and responsibility for any liability incurred as a result of their negligence or wilful default due to their participation in this Contest and/or redemption and/or use of the prizes, Participant and Winner agree to release the Organiser and its agencies from any claim whatsoever from that liability.
7.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event the Organiser or any of its officer, employee, representative and/or agent (including, any third-party agencies that deals with the Organiser for the purpose of this Contest) be liable for any loss or damage arising in the Pariticipant’s negligence or wilful default in connection with this Contest.
7.3 By participating in this Contest, the Participant agrees to comply with all the Terms & Conditions of this Contest and all decisions made by the Organiser.
7.4 These Terms and Conditions are governed by Malaysian laws and under the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
7.5 For any whatsoever reason, where any part of the contest is not capable of being executed as planned by reason of, but not limited to, the infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized interception, fraud, negligence, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of The Organiser whereby having corrupted or affected the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the said contest, The Organiser reserves the right to exercise its absolute discretion to disqualify any entry and/or cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest. The Organiser in doing so shall not be liable or responsible thereof.
8. PRIVACY NOTICE
8.1 By participating in the Contest, the Participant give their consent to and authorise the Organiser to collect, store, use, process their names, masked Identification Numbers (IC) and other personal particulars (“Personal Data”) for the purpose of running the Contest, including but not limited to announcing and publishing Personal Data and/or photos of the Participant at the Organiser’s website for advertising and publicity purposes.
8.2 By participating in the Contest, the Participant also give their consent and authorise the Organiser using a third-party service including but not limited to any financial institution to process the Participant’s Personal Data. All such third parties are contractually obliged, not to use the Participant’s Personal Data in any other than way that stated herein.
8.3 Under the laws of Malaysia, the rights of the Participant include:
a) The rights to withdraw consent for the use of Personal Data at any time by contacting the Organiser at the contact details mentioned below by providing the Organiser with the Participant’s name and email address for removal of the said Personal Data;
b) The rights to obtain a copy of the Personal Data which the Organiser hold; and
c) The rights to correct inaccurate Personal Data.
8.4 The Organiser will take reasonable precautions to keep Participant’s Personal Data secure, and requires third party processors to do the same. However, the Organiser may disclose the Participant’s Personal Data if required by law, search warrant, subpoena or court order.
8.5 Any matter to the Personal Data relating to this Contest shall be governed by and dealt with in the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and any other relevant laws in Malaysia.
